Spridlington Hall

Monday, 16th October 2017 Spridlington Hall

GRS are thrilled to have been appointed by Arthur Wood & Sons to undertake a full re-wire of the historic Spridlington Hall which is located in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Building which has been unoccupied for the last 7 years is to undergo a full refurbishment. GRS will be responsible for the electrical design and installation and will be working closely with John Roberts Architects, Arthur Wood & Sons and the client to fully modernise this outstanding Grade II listed building.

The building which dates back to 1842 and was the former rectory known as the Hall will be fully modernised whilst maintaining its historic grandeur and appearance, and of course being sympathetic to its listed status.

Refurbishment works will be undertaken in two phases, the works to the main house will be undertaken first followed by the installation of new orangery which will link the existing house to the former stable building which will be converted into an indoor swimming pool.

The design will take advantage of modern energy saving technologies with the installation of low energy lighting and a ground source heat pump system to provide hot water and heating.
